Zillertal Alps Natural Park
Welcome to a recognised paradise.
Since 1991
the untouched mountain landscape of the Zillertal Alps have been under
protection, and in 2001 it received the title of "Natural Park".
This
internationally known category of protection officially distinguishes
this beautiful area between green valleys and white glacier giants as a
place to protect!

The
Zillertal Alps Natural Park reaches over all central alpine altitude
levels from 1,000 m to 3,510 m and so is a true high mountains park.
The total area of the park is 377 km² - and should you want to walk
through the whole park, you would be on the road for a whole seven days!
