Riding the Steam Train through Zillertal:

Experience the Zillertal alpine world in a wonderfully nostalgic way - on the 100 year old Zillertal train! While you wind your way through the valleys and mountains at a comfortable 35 km/h, discover some beautiful and special spots in Zillertal!

Visiting the Zillertal Alpine Dairy:

After a visit to the Zillertal Alpine Dairy in Mayrhofen, the fine cheese of Tyrol will taste even better! Over 6,000 m² you will learn all about the production of cheese and butter, and you will find out how milk is gently bottled. You can also try the regional specialities there and purchase some fine holiday souvenirs.

Churches

Zillertal boasts some very pretty churches. In the parish of Hippach for example, you can find the parish churches of the Holy Ingenuin and Albuin. At the beginning of the 13th century they were built in a long cross form and today house three beautiful altars. After an earthquake at the end of the 17th century the current early baroque new building was built.
