Winter hikes
In March the Tuxertal is a paradise for snowshoes. or winter hikers! ❄️☀️ The days are getting longer, the sun is shining more intensely, and yet there is still fantastic powder snow on the mountains. With snowshoes you explore the untouched winter landscape away from the pistes - through magical forests, over gentle slopes and up to breathtaking viewpoints.
Winter forest bathing
A beginner's snowshoe tour with an altitude of approx. 300 meters. The starting point is directly at the hotel, from where we head straight into the forest. Enjoy the silence and we might even meet a mountain hare.
To the Höllensteinhütte and a little further
We use the ski bus that takes us to Juns - from there it's about 600 meters uphill. Enjoy the impressive landscape and if you want, you can rent a sledge from the Höllensteinhütte and toboggan down the hill on the way back.

In our wellness area in the hotel we have done everything we can to offer our guests a first-class experience of relaxation and recreation.
Infinity Pool
Our spectacular infinity pool is the jewel of the wellness area. The warm, crystal-clear water visually merges with the surrounding Alpine panorama, giving you the feeling of swimming in the mountains. The pool offers a breathtaking view of the snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains of the Tux Valley. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after an active day in the mountains.
Sauna landscape
The diverse sauna area of the Hotel Tuxertal offers something for every taste. Whether in the Finnish sauna with high temperatures and low humidity or in the organic sauna with mild temperatures and higher humidity, the sauna experience relaxes the body and mind. After your sauna session, you can relax in our comfortably equipped relaxation rooms and enjoy the view of the Alps or dive into the cool water in the indoor pool.

Our masseur offers just the right treatment after an eventful day in the mountains. From the classic full-body massage to special head-neck or neck-back massages, we offer you the ideal relaxation for your body.
