Thanks to the high altitude and the latest snowmaking technology, Tux offers an exceptionally long ski season and guarantees snow. From the slopes you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Eggalmbahnen
just one stop away on the electric ski bus and in just 8 minutes with the comfortable 4-person gondolas you arrive at the mountain.
Rastkogelbahnen
in just 2 minutes with the electric ski bus to the Rastkogelbahn. The many blue and red slopes as well as the Rastkogel kids slope are a highlight especially for families.
Hintertux Glacier
15 minutes with the electric ski bus to the Hintertux Glacier and from there you can float with the glacier buses to 3,250m above sea level.

Winter hikes
When the first snow turns the landscape into a white wonderland, a new world full of possibilities opens up. Winter hiking is a wonderful way to experience the beauty of nature and enjoy the fresh, clear winter air.
The winter hiking trails lead through picturesque forests, over glittering snow fields and past frozen lakes and streams. Every step is accompanied by the crunching sound of the snow under your boots and the whispering of the winter wind through the trees. Discover the peace and quiet of winter nature and let yourself be enchanted by the untouched snow landscape in the Tux Valley.
Winter forest bathing
A beginner's snowshoe tour with an elevation gain of around 300 meters. The starting point is right next to the hotel, from where we head straight into the forest. Enjoy the silence and we might even come across a snow hare.
To the Höllensteinhütte and a little further
We use the ski bus that takes us to Juns - from there it's about 600 meters uphill. Enjoy the impressive landscape and if you want, you can rent a sledge at the Höllensteinhütte and sled downhill for the return journey.
